As each year passes NABBA never fail to impress. This year was no different. Despite the literally the entire world against us, NABBA managed to put on a show that will be remembered as THE event for 2021 ! Covid has put a stop to many events this year but thankfully has done nothing to stop a packed out show held at Pudsey Civic Center.

After a few late arrivals, the show started in true style with the first class Miss Novice Toned Figure. A class that always gets the audience sat up and begging for more. The running order of the day was as follows.

The compare for the day was Ronnie Orr who always sets the stage alight with his gregarious personality dancing along to the music between routines and Ronnie always has a joke on hand. Especially that jacket you wore before the show Ronnie (joking wink wink)

There were several stand out athletes on the day too many to mention but i did take note of a few and can not let this opportunity go by without giving them a sentence or two.

Mickey Bradshaw, out of muscle unit gym who I saw before he stepped onstage and had a good feeling about his result before he even stepped onstage. Mickey clearly enjoyed every second of his time onstage.

Steve Howarth, (WUP Pro WNBF Pro DFAC Pro 7xBritish Champion, 4xWorld Champion, 2xEuropean ) who always inspires me with his elegant posing and jaw dropping physique.

Gary Chapell who really stood out today with a polished routine, clean lines and a good 15lb heavier than last time he stood onstage.

Paul Douglas who took the show on at just two weeks notice in condition that was s good as anyone else onstage.

Paul Rowe who won his class in a close battle with the mighty Nigel Goundry a mass monster who has been a successful bodybuilder on the circuit for as long as i can imagine. Paul is as wide as he is tall with an old school physique and Arnold fan would be pray to have.

Terry Weiss 61 year old Terry a good friend of mine who has announced his retirement this year ( i will believe it when i see it Tel) Terry chose a sports shorts class today for some reason a class that in my opinion just didn’t do his bodybuilder physique the justice it deserves.

Kirsty Elise Duffield one of team tops girls a winning team head by the great Steve Johnson (muscletricks athlete) Kirsty shone on stage its easy to see that this girl is going to do big things in the future.
